White Cat Wallpaper: This is the Hobonichi Techo’s fourth collaboration with Yumi Kitagishi, an illustrator who has also been making a name for herself as a picture book author in recent years.

The Weeks cover features an original wallpaper-inspired pattern featuring illustrations of a white cat, two elegantly dressed swans, a black cat maid, and a grand house. The charming and graceful design evokes the wallpaper inside a dollhouse, a recurring motif in Kitagishi’s work.

The year 2027, the delicate line of small flowers and leaves along the spine, and the ribbon and lily-of-the-valley accent are all foil-pressed in matte gold for a touch of understated glamour.

 Floral Remedy: This Hobonichi Techo Weeks is covered in printed fabric from Liberty Fabrics, a brand born in Britain with devoted fans around the world.

Inspired by the healing power of plants, the Floral Remedy design was carefully illustrated by hand in the Liberty Fabrics studio using a combination of pencil and watercolor. The illustrations include chamomile, apple blossom, lily of the valley, St. John’s wort, wild violet, and cranberry, forming a quiet herbal garden where scientific precision and artistic sensibility are artfully entwined.

Candy Dream: The Bow & Tie series techos are wrapped in the same textured, shiny fabric used in neckties. The material has a beautiful gloss and is soft to the touch.

The Candy Dream design features colorful candies scattered across a deep navy backdrop.

You’ll find all kinds of sweets: wrapped candy, classic lollipops, swirly pinwheel lollipops, fluffy cotton candy, and juicy soft candies. Look closely, and you’ll even spot some traditional Kintaro candy with an adorable face. Every last one of these colorful confections has been woven in fine detail using necktie fabric.

Vivid pinks, yellows, and emerald blues pop beautifully against the navy background, creating an eye-catching, adorable design that makes you feel like you’re in a dream, surrounded by mountains of your favorite candy.
